What are your responsibilities?
When the show is open for business, it is expected of you to be professional and clean. The patrons that come out to have a great time are the ones making your paycheck. We help to make positive memories for them that last a lifetime.
Ride Department: Duties include setting up, taking down, cleaning, learning the manufature's guidelines for operation and safety of amusement rides in all weather conditions, etc.
Food Department: Duties include setting up, taking down, cleaning, preparing, serving, stocking, in the food concession stands.
The job starts when you arrive to the location of the carnival, fill out the on-site application, and begin. We contract with reputable carnivals through-out the U.S. to help you get the best job available.
Where will you travel?
The carnival will travel many states over. Depending on what amusement carnival you are with determines what states you will travel. Generally you will set up at the beginning of the week, open to the public towards the weekend and sometimes stay over a couple of weeks in one location for the larger venues. Each event has it's contracted schedule that must be maintained by the carnival. The carnival tour becomes your new home away from home. You must love to travel in order to like this job.
